Timeless Hair Looks for Lara's 3-Day Wedding at Loch Lomond

Lara flew in from New York knowing exactly what she wanted: herself on her wedding day, just elevated. No drama. No guessing.

We talked through everything on Zoom before she even landed. Her hair concerns. The Scottish weather. What would actually survive the day. That's when trust started—before the trial, before anything.

Friday: The Trial That Sealed It

I did her trial the day before her wedding weekend started. Same day, we transitioned her into two different looks for her welcome brunch and that evening's ceilidh. She saw the vision. She felt confident. That's the whole point.

Saturday Morning: Signature Timeless Waves

Wedding day arrived and we created soft, polished waves. Not crunchy. Not heavy. Just her but better. We planned a second look for the evening (a polished chignon), but then the weather had other ideas.

The 2-Minute Pivot That Changed Everything

After the ceremony, the Scottish mist started creeping in. Here's the thing: her glam waves were flawless, but outdoor photos with misty rain? Her hair would've looked stringy, frizzy, clinging to her skin. Not the vibe.

So we did a quick, clean ponytail—two minutes—to protect those waves while she and Matt did their outdoor photos. Her veil protected her ponytail, kept it looking polished, and she stayed stress-free the whole time.

Evening: Polished Chignon

The reception came, we moved into that planned chignon. She danced. She celebrated. Her hair stayed perfect the entire night.

Still Connected a Year Later

Coolest part? I got to meet Lara and Matt for their one-year anniversary in St. Andrews. That's what I'm really here for—the relationships that last way longer than the wedding day.
