Can you work exclusively with the bride?

Yes.I believe your wedding morning should feel calm, intentional and entirely centred around you. By dedicating my time and attention 1:1 to my bride, I’m able to provide the highest level of personalisation and ensure every detail of your hairstyle is perfected throughout the day.Should styling be required for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, family members or guests, a trusted supporting artist can be arranged separately. This allows me to remain fully focused on you, while ensuring everyone else is looked after too.

What is included in your wedding day service?

My full day bridal hairstyling service includes up to 8 hours of dedicated coverage on your wedding day.This allows me to remain by your side beyond the initial styling, providing touch-ups, veil changes, support throughout photography, and the option for a second hairstyle later in the day should you wish to transition your look for the evening celebrations.Every wedding is unique, and coverage can be tailored to suit your plans.

What if I only want wedding morning styling?

My role extends far beyond creating your wedding hairstyle.From the moment preparations begin until you’re ready to step into the next part of your celebration, I remain available to ensure your hair looks flawless, photographs beautifully and feels effortless throughout the day.Every wedding booking includes up to 8 hours of dedicated coverage, allowing for touch-ups, weather considerations, veil changes, outfit transitions and the option of a second look.As I reserve my availability exclusively for one bride per day, the base investment remains the same whether the full coverage is utilised or not.

How far in advance should I book my wedding hair?

Most brides book their bridal hairstylist 6–12 months in advance to secure their wedding date.Bridal hair and wedding hairstyling dates book quickly, especially during peak wedding season (April–September). I recommend enquiring as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. Many brides secure their wedding hairstylist 6–12 months in advance.If your wedding is sooner, still get in touch. Last-minute bridal hair availability does occasionally come up.

I regularly travel as a bridal hairstylist across Scotland, the UK, Europe and internationally for weddings and destination weddings.I am based in Aberdeen, Scotland, where bridal hair trials take place at my home-based studio, with easy access and free parking.For your wedding, I travel directly to your wedding venue or chosen getting-ready location, so there’s no need to travel to me.I regularly provide bridal hair and wedding hairstyling across Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands, and I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK, Europe and internationally for destination weddings.

Do I need to book a trial?

A bridal trial is not essential; however, for brides who would like a preview of their wedding hairstyle ahead of the wedding, this is included in selected packages and can also be booked as an additional service.

Can I have a bridal hair trial before booking?

Absolutely. If you’d like to book a bridal hair trial before committing to your wedding date, you’re more than welcome to do so for complete peace of mind.You can book an initial trial within 2–3 weeks of enquiring, subject to availability, to experience my styling approach and discuss your wedding plans. Please note that your wedding date is not secured at this stage. Dates are only reserved once a signed agreement and booking fee have been received.If you decide to go ahead with your booking, you will still receive a further bridal hair trial, as this is included within selected packages.

Where do bridal hair trials take place?

Bridal hair trials take place at my home-based studio in Aberdeen, Scotland. It’s a relaxed, private space, perfect for one-to-one bridal hair appointments.There’s easy parking directly outside the studio entrance, making it simple and stress-free to arrive and enjoy your trial.If it’s more convenient, I can also travel to your chosen location for your bridal hair trial, subject to availability and travel requirements.

When should my bridal hair trial take place?

The ideal time for a bridal hair trial is 2–3 months before your wedding. By this point, your dress will usually be chosen, your neckline confirmed and, if you’re wearing one, your veil will be ready. Your hair will also be closer to how it will be on your wedding day.This means we have all the key elements needed to fully visualise your bridal hair look, rather than scheduling your trial too early when important details are still being decided.For destination brides, I often travel to you a few days before the wedding to complete your bridal hair trial and style your hair for pre-wedding events. This means you don’t need to organise travel to my studio. I meet you wherever you are.Don’t worry! I’ll always email you to arrange and book your bridal hair trial at the right time, so it’s one less thing for you to think about.

How long does bridal hair take on the wedding morning?

How do you handle larger bridal parties?

Depending on your ceremony and wedding timeline, my typical maximum is 5 people for hair, including the bride.If your bridal party is larger, I’m happy to arrange an additional professional supporting hair artist to style the additional members of your party. I will remain your dedicated bridal hairstylist, ensuring your hair is styled personally by me and that everyone is ready on time.

I don’t know exactly how many people in my bridal party want their hair styled. Is that okay?

Absolutely. I recommend booking for the people you know will need hair styling to start with, and we can adjust the numbers later if you’d like to add additional people or services.You’re able to make changes and add-ons until two months before your wedding day, at which point final numbers and services are confirmed. This allows me to create an accurate schedule and ensures everything runs smoothly on the morning, without last-minute stress.

What happens if there’s a last-minute change to my bridal party numbers?

Final numbers for your bridal party are confirmed two months before your wedding day.If a bridal party member is no longer requiring hair, the base rate remains unchanged from the package originally booked. This is because your date and time have been reserved based on the original booking.This also gives us plenty of time to plan your wedding morning hair schedule and ensure everyone is looked after, without last-minute changes affecting the timing of your morning.

Is there a different pricing structure for destination weddings?

Destination wedding hair is priced by personalised quote, based on your wedding location, schedule and the services required.We’ll start with a video call so we can meet face-to-face, talk through your wedding plans and get to know each other before I create your proposal.Your quote will take into account everything needed for your destination wedding hairstyling, including travel, accommodation, timings and any additional services or requirements.Every destination wedding is different, so I’ll create a bespoke proposal based on your plans and exactly what you need for your wedding.

Can you do hair for other events before the wedding, such as a welcome party?

I offer bridal hairstyling for engagement parties, engagement photos, bridal showers and other pre-wedding events.These services can be added to your booking and incorporated into your overall bridal hair package, so your hair is taken care of for every celebration leading up to your wedding day.

How do I book you as my bridal hairstylist?
